Abstract
Before any intervention can be effectively implemented, careful planning regarding aspects of classroom management should be considered, because an effective management program may be the only remediation a student with an emotional or behavioral disorder (EBD) requires. A particular classroom management system may include or exclude certain students from a particular setting. For example, a student diagnosed as needing a structured behavioral environment may need to be excluded from an environment that frequently uses free-play therapy.
