Abstract

Conducting a case study series in a community garden on Superior and E. 67th street. I worked on this research project during my sabbatical. The harness system installed in tunnel summer 2017 by PT and engineering. I am looking at participation and meaning. I began working with participant with balance disturbances to enable her to garden using system. I conducted initial interview and working with Ann Reinthal to determine other outcome measures. I submitted an IRB revision and updated the informed consent during my sabbatical. I also will be conducting post study interview during the summer 2018. Five OT students have been involved with this fantastic project. They presented the poster at OOTA. Four more OT students resume the project during the summer 2018 -Spring 2019 and work on it throughout the academic year. They plan to submit another poster which they presented at the COSHP research day. Both the OOTA 2018 poster and COSHP 2019 poster are attached.
