Corrigendum to Bezout inequality for mixed volumes (International Mathematics Research Notices (2017) DOI: 10.1093/imrn/rnv390)

Abstract

In "Bezout Inequality for Mixed Volumes" by Ivan Sprunov and Artem Zvavitch, the second statement of Theorem 5.6 erroneously asserts that the presented inequality is sharp. This is the result of a typo in line 7 from below on page 7246, where r in front of the mixed volume in the right hand side should read r!. Below is the correct statement of Theorem 5.6, which also improves the bound in Theorem 5.7. Suppose D is a convex body in ℝn and K1, . . . Kr are zonoids then (Equation Presented) and the inequality is sharp." This error has been corrected online. The authors regret this error.
