Abstract

In July 2019, I attended the UFVA annual conference where I presented on a panel entitled: "Digital Stories: How Technology is Transforming the Narrative Experience." My research explored how DIY, self-distributed web content (web series, vlogs, etc.) have become new venues/opportunities for historically underrepresented filmmakers/voices (POC, female, LGBTQ).
