Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapterpeer-review

Abstract

The purpose of this chapter is to describe and reflect on how three professional development courses at a Midwestern higher education institution were implemented, particularly as one of them relates to teaching large online classes. These professional development courses included over 60 full-time and part-time faculty participating in each course during the summer of 2020. The courses focused on: Flipping your remote classroom, small teaching online, and engaging students in online learning. In addition, we discuss the future impact of such faculty development and future lines of inquiry.
