Ethnografilm is co-sponsored by the International Social Science Council (ISSC) and the Society for Social Studies of Science (4S). Marked by its contemporary relevance and broad intellectual range, the objective of Ethnografilm is to promote the examination of cultures as well as social issues, describing “patterns of living” throughout the world to educate and entertain. Acceptance rates have not been published. Ethnografilm 2018 screened 116 films from 52 countries. Event included a post-screening Q&A with filmmakers present.
