Fresh Start: Moon Docs Documentary Screening Series

MOONDOCS 2018 JUNE 24, 2018 @ 8:00 AM - JUNE 25, 2018 @ 5:00 PM $60 An open networking and learning event for aspiring and experienced filmmakers, artists, educators, students, cultural workers, and others interested in filmmaking, production, socially conscious arts, diversity, and learning about how to get one’s work to audiences. Last year our keynote filmmaker was producer Hébert Peck who introduced his Academy Award-nominated film “I Am Not Your Negro” and did a Q&A session after the film’s screening. The Center for Documentary Production & Study and Media Arts Department at RMU are organizing and sponsoring, with additional sponsorship from the Tull Family Theater, the event in our community outreach effort to support local filmmakers and other artists to have access to additional resources and networking. Outreach partners for the event are locally the 31st Street Studios and nationally the Broadcast Education Association.
