Abstract

Invited Designer, AIGA GOTV 2020: "Empowering the Women's Vote" Poster Campaign and Traveling Exhibition. One of 70 female designers invited from around the country to design nonpartisan posters to commemorate 100 years of women’s voting rights. Printed invitational posters were on display in galleries across the country, including: Carnegie Mellon's Institute for Contemporary Art, The Printing Museum in Houston, Chance Lobby at the RISD Museum, Michigan State University's Union Art Gallery, TheatreSquared with University of Arkansas and AIGA Northwest Arkansas, the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego (MCASD), Maryland Institute College of Art, and more. The digital files were used to promote contributions to the 2020 GOTV effort from designers across the country. According to AIGA, "This campaign aspires to not only support voter participation, but to also serve as a backdrop for dialogue and examination of the history of voting rights and women’s fight for equality."
