Abstract
Faculty sometimes struggle with how to develop and write effective, easy to understand NCLEX type test questions, which is essential for licensure. The purpose of the Item Writing class is to guide faculty through: 1) How to develop test questions using Bloom's Taxonomy and the NCLEX Test Blueprint 2) Introduce faculty to the different types of test options (multiple choice questions, true-false options, matching items etc. 3) Analyzing the reliability and validity of test items
