During the Spring 2108 semester I applied for and was the recipient of a Merit Pay award. The award followed an application highlighting my activities associated with providing flipped instruction to support my face-to-face courses. My related activity, which was not prompted or required by administration, resulted in a number of digital video clips that were made available for student use via Blackboard (i.e., a course shell to support a traditional face-to-face class). The digital videos allowed students unlimited 24/7 access to instructional content thus extending learning opportunities beyond classroom experiences.
