Abstract
In November, I delivered a more evolved version at the annual convention of the US-Mexican Numismatic Association of my earlier presentation on the first Mexican banknotes at the special meeting of the Numismatic Society of Mexico in August. I conducted the same iconographic and source analysis. I also added additional material on the identification of the plants used as innocuous symbols of Mexican identity, and I elaborated further on the evidence for possible printers. A PDF copy is attached. As you can see, the treatment is very scholarly and could be developed into a peer-reviewed publication. In Spanish.
