“Ogbesọn: An ‘Executive Village.’”

An exploration of the village of Ogbeson, its founding, the iya and wall that surround it, and its architecture and festivals. This was originally going to be a book chapter, but the  editor stated that because not all other chapters were submitted, it would become an article in a special issue of Umẹwaẹn: Journal of Benin and Edoid Studies. The journal had been stalled during the pandemic, but is due to begin printing again.
