Abstract
Cultural intelligence (CQ) is an important individual difference variable that is relevant to most corporations of the 21st century and an increasingly global economy. Corporate culture is equally relevant for more effectively understanding and predicting individuallevel outcomes. This research explores the interactive effects of situation and disposition (organizational culture and CQ) with regard to job satisfaction and turnover intentions. In a sample of 92 employees from an international corporation, results support the notion that innovative, participative, and collaborative cultures increase job satisfaction and reduce turnover intentions. However, the effects of the situation have greater benefits for those lower on CQ.
