Abstract
A survey of licensed, faith-based daycere programs was conducted in Metropolitan Cleveland, Ohio. The survey was to explore the perceptions that parents have concerning the competence of staff and the quality of the programs that are operated by faith-based organizations. The parents' perception of the strength of the linkage that the programs maintained with the religious organizations as well as the values communicated by the staff were also concerns of the exploratory study.
