Abstract

This was a presentation to local and national early childhood experts and stakeholders. Dr. Walsh and Dr. Needlman have an ongoing pilot project at the Broadway Health Center (Reach Out and Read Plus). This presentation introduced this program and explained the ethnographic research component that explores the relationship between early childhood literacy and health and wellbeing.
