Abstract
During the Spring 2019 semester, I worked collaboratively with Writing Center coordinator Dr. Mary McDonald to develop guidelines and grading rubrics for two major assignments. Work on revisions to the Philosophy Paper and Research Paper took approximately 15 hours and was accomplished via three face-to-face meetings with Dr. McDonald. This activity provided direct, succinct, and explicit guidance to our students enrolled in ESE 400 / 500 Introduction to Special Education which is a Writing Across the Curriculum course.
