Abstract
The promise of Seligman and Csikszentmihalyi's (2000) 3-pillar model as applied by Lytle, Vaughan, Rodriguez, and Schmerler (2014) to sexual minority and transgender and gender-nonconforming issues in clinical training graduate psychology is strong. This reaction article discusses research ideas for examining graduate programs and universities as positive social institutions that potentially build student character strengths and promote positive subjective experiences.
