Abstract

Glyco-imaging/biocapture. Glycopolymer-based multivalent carbohydrates facilitate high binding affinity and specificity of carbohydrate-protein interactions. Herein, we report site-specific multivalent carbohydrate labeling of quantum-dot and magnetic-bead surfaces using a biotin chain-end- functionalized glycopolymer and demonstrate the potential value of these multivalent carbohydrates in both imaging and biocapture applications.
