Abstract

I was invited by Anne Howard, Choreographer, Director of Levity Dance, to collaborate in this event by contributing original choreography inspired by the work of South African artist, James Webb. I was inspired by and responded to Webb's work titled "An Infinite Yearning Met With a Finite World". This contemporary work, titled "Tethered, Released", was a self-solo performance exploring the ephemerality of physical and emotional relationships and bonds between and among loved ones. Program Description: Local choreographers converge to create movement poetry in a vivid portrayal of modern. View original works from diverse perspectives and watch art literally come to life.
