Abstract
I am a convener of the seminar "The Future of Digital Humanities in German History and German Studies." This is the first systematic offering in Digital Humanities in the history of the German Studies Association. This presentation format is considered equivalent to a paper presentation by the German Studies Association. The seminar meets for 2 hours each morning of the conference (Friday-Sunday). All participants are expected to attend these sessions and come prepared with assigned readings and projects. I organized this seminar with my colleague, Jared Donnelly, and all pre-conference and conference materials will be posted to the website above to foster conversations on the future of digital humanities in our field.
