Abstract

Script was peer reviewed by two colleagues and presented at the conference via a table read, presentation of notes from reviewers, and group discussion/feedback session. 2 reviewers provided written feedback as well. PROJECT DESCRIPTION Short narrative film (19 pages) SYNOPSIS: A bumbled carjacking turns into a transformative journey for Todd, an erratic, hapless 25-year old. His victim, Lydia, becomes his savior and leads him to her idyllic, commune-like hometown of Eclipse, where Todd begins to see a brighter future for himself -- and with Lydia. But will his newfound hope blind him to the town’s oddities, and can Lydia give Todd a second chance at life, and love? THE PUMP is an official selection (in competition) of The University of Film & Video Association 2019 Annual Conference. It will be peer reviewed by a panel of 3 and presented via table read at the Conference (7/29/19-8/3/19)
