Abstract

During the spring semester, I became aware of the fact that many students who were interested in our BCBA course sequence were at times reticent to come to campus to learn more about the program. This is somewhat to be expected due to the fact that all six of the related 3- hour courses are offered via Blackboard. As a result, I began to utilize Blackboard Collaborate in order to provide a platform for video conferencing. As a result of this advising change, which was required during the second half of the semester due to the COVID-19 closing of campus, we have seen a tremendous increase in enrollment with 16 students enrolling in the first courses, ESE 530 and ESE 531, and beginning study during the Summer Session I semester. This activity support the initiative within our college to boost graduate enrollment.
